FAQs
Is the venue accessible?
There is a ramp access and a disabled toilet. Please let us know if you need us to make any additional support available when you sign up.
What ages is it for?
We make our events open to the family. At our Peru event last year, ages ranged from 4 to 18 (plus the parent carers). We welcome families and will do our best to support you while you’re here! We’ve said ages 6+ as a guide for this event, as the skateboard is a bit fiddly and some of the ideas about how signals work/ road design are more suitable for an older group of budding engineers/ transport planners.
Is there parking at the Bloom Building?
There is limited street parking. Access via the bike path, or a 10 min walk from Hamilton Square are both options. The venue is behind the Glen Affric Brewery. Cars should follow signs toward Birkenhead Priory.
Is there food at the Bloom?
No- but they have amazing coffee and drinks. For the cookie activity we have gluten free, vegan and nut free cookies.
