We’re by the beach for our next Unplugged event with Dr Monica McCard- an enthusiastic teacher and a fabulous Marine Biologist!
We’ve spent 8 months working with Monica, local artists and students to transform what she knows about our local estuaries (the River Dee and the River Mersey) into fun activity boxes for the whole family and we can’t wait to share them with you on May 28th.
We’ll be crafting in the beach house and then going to the beach with Monica to explore!
Where is Wallasey Beach Club?

Glad you asked! It’s near the waterfront in New Brighton on Coastal Drive.
What are the best ways to get there?
By Train or Bus.
By Train: it’s a 13 min walk from Wallasey Grove Train Station or 30 min from New Brighton Train Station.
By Bus: 106 Bus from New Brighton + walk for 5 min.
Where do you park if you’re coming by car?
King’s Parade it’s then either a short but uneven walk across the grass, or using the pathway, through a bit of sand.

Wallasey Beach Club is currently having a glow-up, so we’ll be some of the first to see it in its shiny beauty!
