Join us for a unique family event that will transport you to the heart of Peru! Led by our volunteer Peruvian Zoologist Ximena, this event is designed to be inclusive, educational, and entertaining for everyone.
Whether you’re passionate about animals, love crafts, or just want to enjoy quality screen-free time with your loved ones, this is the perfect event for you.
What to Expect at the Peru Event:
Animal Talk by a Peruvian Zoologist: Discover the incredible wildlife of Peru, from the majestic Andean condor to the playful vicuña. Learn fascinating facts and stories that will bring these animals to life!
Interactive Games and Crafts: Engage in a variety of activities, including Peruvian games, weaving weaving crafts, and comic book illustration. Perfect for families to enjoy and create something memorable.
Sensory Room and SENDCO: A calming and supportive space for those with sensory needs, ensuring everyone can participate in the day’s fun.
Cultural Immersion: Experience the richness of Peruvian culture and it’s historic tie to Birkenhead.
Cost for the Peru Event:
For families eligible for free school meals, those on the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) waiting list, and SEND families, click the button below to register for a free ticket sponsored by Awesome Liverpool. On approval we’ll send you a 100% OFF discount code to use when getting your ticket.
For everyone else, £20 per Family: This includes admission for the entire family and a special Peru Box to take home filled with goodies! Check out the box contents in the description below- each box comes with a Hamilton Bear pin. If you’d like a pin for a sibling you can add it here.
